VFS taps Brace to oversee captive’s global operations

New CFO has more than 20 years experience with Volvo Financial Services

Volvo Financial Services appointed Tabitha Brace as senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer, the company announced.

Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, Brace will oversee the company’s global finance organization, including accounting, capital markets and funding, and financial and business control, according to a March 12 Volvo Financial Services (VFS) release.

Brace joined VFS in 2003 in an accounting role and later moved into a business controller position, according to the release. She subsequently held several finance director roles before becoming managing director for VFS UK and Ireland, where she led the regional market organization.

In 2021, she was named senior vice president for VFS Europe South and West, overseeing operations across six markets, according to the release. Her responsibilities later expanded to include four additional markets in the company’s international region. Most recently, Brace served as senior vice president for VFS Europe North and Central.

Volvo Group’s 2025 performance

Meanwhile, VFS reported the following full-year 2025 results in the Volvo Group‘s Jan. 28 earnings statement:

  • New retail financing volume totaled 109 billion Swedish krona ($12.3 billion), down 5.3% year over year; 
  • Total financed units on a 12-month rolling basis rose 2.2% YoY to 66,682; and
  • VFS’ credit portfolio decreased 8.6% YoY to $28.9 billion.

Volvo Group’s net sales fell 9% to 54 million, according to the earnings release.
