Truist Financial Corp. has appointed Mark Cuccinello head of structured credit to oversee asset-based lending, working capital solutions and equipment finance.

Cuccinello joins from JPMorgan Chase, where he led asset-based lending originations in the Northeast, according to a Truist release today. In his new role, he will help advance Truist’s structured-credit strategy by working more closely with corporate and commercial banking teams to deepen industry relationships and support clients’ growth, liquidity management and investment needs.

“Mark brings significant expertise and a proven track record of building high-performing teams that deliver results,” Kathy Farrell, head of Truist Asset Finance, stated in the releae. “His leadership further strengthens our ability to offer sophisticated solutions that support our clients and advance our purpose.”

The appointment reflects Truist’s continued investment in its wholesale banking platform and its push to deliver structured-credit solutions across various industries, the release states.
